Chipless RFID
Our lab aims to fully implement chipless RFID in real application. We attempt to revolutionize library management by putting chipless tags on all library collections. As such, not only the system start-up cost is reduced as compared to conventional UHF RFID, the management and personnel costs are lowered because the efficiency of inventory taking and book finding is enhanced.

Antennas, Arrays, and Metasurfaces
Our lab has proposed a number of novel antenna designs. The applications being addressed include mm-wave microstrip arrays, transparent antennas, origami antennas, dual-polarized antenna arrays, cubesat antennas, dual-band reconfigurable antennas, vehicular antennas, 3D printed antennas, LTE handset antennas, LTE MIMO base-station antennas, wearable antennas, textile antennas, implantable antennas, UWB antennas, and RFID reader antennas. Recent publications demonstrate transparent reflectarrays integrated with solar cells and anisotropic metasurfaces.
