Introduction
The mission of the Applied Computing Lab. (ACL) is to conduct a program of research on different kinds of problems about data management arisen in emerging computing environments, including wireless networks, mobile computing, and even newly edge-cloud computing as well as Internet of Things (IoT), to its members.
We consider the research topics in these computing environments from the angles of data management and processing with the fundamental properties and techniques in artificial intelligence (AI) as well as data science. Besides, the members may also learn or develop some new applied software technologies about big data processing and mobile devices.
