The purpose of this study is to integrate chipless radio frequency identification (Chipless RFID), including tag design (hardware), network analyzer operation on a microcontroller (firmware), and tag decoding program on a microcontroller (software). This system uses chipless RFID tags. As the name implies, there is no chip on the tag, so the encoded information is recorded on the scatterer of the chipless tag. Through the network analyzer, the scatter field data of the tag is obtained, and then sent to the most important microcontroller for short-time Fourier transform to filter out the interference on the antenna and the noise in the measurement environment. And we can obtain the tag ID. In the past, a decoding program was performed on a computer, so the issue of calculation time was not considered. The purpose of this study was to transfer the program code to the microcontroller to calculate, but the operation time becomes longer. We modify the program to decrease the operation time. While increasing the speed of the decoding, the reliability of the decoding has to be valued and the program needs to be optimized and improved step by step.
