This study proposes a circular antenna array fabricated using three-dimensional printing technology. The circular antenna array is composed of 8 monopole antennas. The design frequency is 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi frequency band. The simulated results show that the return loss is 32 dB at 2.43 GHz. Radiation efficiency can reach approximately 80% in the operating band. We use the "Wi-Fi Analyzer" APP to measure the signal strength of a Wi-Fi commercially available 5-dBi antenna and that of the circular antenna array. When the communication separation is 2 m, the Wi-Fi commercially available 5-dBi antenna depicts a signal strength of about –38 dBm; as a comparison, the proposed circular antenna array shows a signal strength of about –35 dBm. Therefore, the circular antenna array using the three-dimensional printing demonstrates superior receiving performance.
